We at the vineyard are thriving this summer: a baby was born, a wedding was held, a wine was bottled, and more and more travelers are finding contentment in our valley… especially at our very own beach on the river!
We hope that your summers have been as fruitful as ours and we hope that you continue to visit us and enrich the space that we call the Hollow at Harris Bridge Vineyard.
If you missed John Elliott and his powerful songwriting and gentle voice (or would like to hear him again), he will return to open a show for Matt the Electrician. And if you are looking for something to do with the family on Labor Day weekend, join us and many others on the tour for the Bounty of Benton County. And you will have to come taste new wine and liqueurs.
September 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Labor Day Weekend
Bounty of Benton County – This annual event sends passport holders throughout the Corvallis area to visit wineries, farms, artists, and natural areas. Show your passport at each site and receive something special. The Bounty is a fundraiser for Strengthening Rural Families. Make sure and stop by our place for some wine, great photo ops by the bridge and vineyard, and bring a picnic and stay awhile.
Matt the Electrician will be back to play at the Hollow. Another Saturday evening with great music in our tasting room open to the evening air. The show begins at 7pm and John Elliott will be joining him. Get your tickets at Grass Roots Bookstore in Corvallis or at the winery, $15. This show will sell out so get ‘em early (available August 15th).
We have just bottled our 2011 Sarah’s Stories and are pouring tastes and reading stories, all too beautiful to explain, you just have to come in and experience it.
The tasting room is open on weekends through November, so come on out and join us. We have lots of picnic space, wines to taste and other beverages to enjoy. Check our events page on the website for updates and ideas.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
